Finished this guy up this morning. This is (p)Hexeris, one of the first three warlocks in the Skorne faction for Hordes.
Hexi has been my favourite warlock for Skorne since I first set eyes on his. He's a bit of a generic caster, doing a little bit of everything, with some solid offensive potential, and a range of circumstantial, but useful, abilities.
As per usual, pictures are showing up some flaws in the paintwork, but he'll do for game-play. There are a ton of details on the Skorne models, and I find as I progress through one, I find myself increasing willing to settle for a decent, rather than top-notch job.
I'm also finding the matte coat I'm using seems to both dull the figures, and very faintly, "cloud" them. I may be putting it on too thick, so I guess further experimentation is required.
Next up for Skorne will be a Krea, but that's facing stiff competition from the Ayyubids sitting on my desk, and some freshly arrived Blue Moon F&IW figures. Even money on what gets the brush first . . . .
