Pewter to Poppies, WiP 1

Hi all,

Got in a little work on the P2P project last night.  As I mentioned in my last post, some of us at the THMG are doing a fundraiser for Remembrance Day.  Each of us is painting a figure or small vignette, and we'll sell them off via a joint ebay account after Nov. 11th.  I've opted for a 1/72 Napoleonic French command stand.



The plan is to have the two of these based fairly closely to each other.  I kind of imagine an officer of Hussars assuring the general that yes, indeed, the ford is over that hill.



O'm reasonably pleased with how the Hussar is coming along, but the mounted officer's a bit dodgy.  I think he needs eyebrows to define his face, but at this scale, I'm not sure if I can pull them off.
