Song of the Who-where in the what-now?

Hi,

If you've not heard of this yet, I highly recommend you check out the Reaper Kickstarter offer for their Bones line.  It's the most insane deal I've come across yet, and as more people sign on, it keeps getting better.  Check it out.

On unrelated issues, I'm seriously considering changing the name of this blog to "The Magpie that Walks", given my apparent inability to resist the siren song of anything new and shiny.  While I've not been able to get out to the club since my drubbing at ernieR's hands a few weeks back, I have been in contact with the gang via the club forums.  Some of the guys have been talking about doing a fantasy skirmish campaign, and after some debate, have decided on "Song of Blades and Mordheim".

This is appealing for a couple of reasons.  First, Mordheim is awesome.  Second, I have a number of fantasy miniatures kicking around I picked up because they were cool, but for which I've had no earthly use.  Now I do.

Bonus points to those who recognise this.

I'm planning on running a list rather loosely based on Brettonia, but with a few tweaks.  I have no idea if this will be effective, but I think it'll be fun ;)

  1. The upside is that I get to live vicariously through your blog. Keep on time tripping and hopping around through history and fantasy. I'm enjoying it, and a little bit jealous!
